Why

Our church built this facility to provide the families of the community a safe, high quality location to play youth soccer in the summer. We recognize the many important life lessons learned on the field and want to make sure all children have the opportunity to play, learn & grow.

We are honored to be a regional soccer location with youth teams from Iron Mountain, Kingsford, Niagara, Pembine, and Florence regularly playing at our facility. And hosting teams from the entire U.P. and northern WI for club play.

What is Orthodoxy?

"Sometimes called the Eastern Orthodox Church, the Orthodox Church is the  first Christian Church, the Church founded by the Lord Jesus Christ and  described in the pages of the New Testament. Her history can be traced  in unbroken continuity all the way back to Christ and His Twelve  Apostles. For twenty centuries, she has continued in her undiminished  and unaltered faith and practice. Today her apostolic doctrine, worship  and structure remain intact. The Orthodox Church maintains that the  Church is the living Body of Jesus Christ." http://www.antiochian.org/about
